St. Ann's Home and School is currently hiring for the following position for its education program.

Art Teacher

Job Description:

Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate art instruction to all students ranging in age 5 to 17.
Responsible for offering an elective course, and an intermediate privilege activity.
Responsible for the yearly inventory and ordering of art supplies.
Displays art work throughout the building.
Works closely with classroom teachers to create an interdisciplinary approach whenever possible.
Responsible for grading students, writing quarterly progress reports, and yearbook responsibilities.
May be called upon to design or display creative pieces of work for special activities, assemblies, open houses, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in education with certification (K-9) in art education or visual arts (PreK-9).
