St. Ann's Home and School is currently hiring for the following position for its education program.
Speech Language Pathologist
Job Description:
- Identifies students with speech and language needs through evaluation and observation and writes reports detailing the results.
- Responsible for implementing programs of remediation which are appropriate to the student’s needs, as well as, keeping up-to-date records of the student’s progress.
- Provides consultation model to teachers for students who do not require formal speech/language intervention, but presents with issues that can be addressed in the classroom.
- Designs, implements and conducts classroom language programs for those classrooms designated as language based and provides appropriate materials to teachers for use in the classroom in order to facilitate carryover of goals and objectives.
- Writes case conferences and IEP reports for those students on their caseload; participation in meetings may be required.
Qualifications:
The speech/language pathologist must be Massachusetts licensed and certified in speech/language pathology.
